Harm Reduction Survey Report: A Summary of State Laws

This survey is designed to reduce the information gap and help individuals and organizations better understand how the legal landscape in their state may impact access to harm reduction services and supplies, including overdose Good Samaritan laws, which provide limited protection from criminal sanctions to encourage people to call for help in an overdose emergency.

Region 10 Opioid Summit, August 3-5: Save the Date!

The 2021 Region 10 Opioid Summit will take place August 3-5 in a virtual format. This Summit is an opportunity for professionals from Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Indian Nations, urban Indian health programs, and recognized American Indian organizations to meet and explore ways to address the opioid crisis.

SAMHSA's New Series of Advisories on Substance Use Disorder Treatment

SAMHSA has published a series of Advisories based on existing Treatment Improvement Protocols (TIPs) and Technical Assistance Publications (TAPS). These Advisories summarize updated guidance and recommendations on topics in the substance use disorder (SUD) treatment field. This Advisory is directed to programs serving clients who are unemployed, underemployed, or struggling in workplace settings. The new Advisories include the following:
